MLK Triangle
In 2022, we embarked on building restorations in the MLK Triangle- once the hub for Natchez's thriving black business district. The work was organized in 5 phases:
Phase1 (COMPLETED): Restoration of the old cotton warehouse & mechanic shop at 6 St. Catherine St ( now Doll Baby's Praise and Dance Hall)
Phase 2 (COMPLETED): Foundation and Basement Repair of old grocery store and undertaker's association at 227 MLK
Phase 3 (95% COMPLETED): 227 MLK Kitchen Upgrade & Renovation of Front Gallery, Restrooms, & Storage Area
Phase 4 (95% COMPLETED): Renovation of 3rd Floor Offices, Dining Room, Kitchen and Bathroom
